The FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the standard network protocol for data tranfers of files between a client and a server or a server to server.

websms FTP/CSV support

FTP is widely used today and the protocol allows you to send messages to a large amount of recipients by uploading one single CSV file. However, we recommend using the websms WEB API for all communication with our services. websms provides you with a FTP access if needed.
The configuration of the FTP connectivity has to be set up manually due to its complexity. Please contact our customer service to set up your FTP profile for your account.
